Volunteer Board Application

Apply to Become a TelComm Board Member Volunteer

Want to make a real impact in helping TelComm succeed? Apply for a position on our Board!

Each member of the Board of Directors is elected by the membership to serve a three-year term. These are unpaid volunteer positions. There are (2) 3-year term positions up for election in April 2026.

Applicants must be a member in good standing and at least 18 years of age. Board Members are required to attend the monthly board meetings in Springfield, Missouri.

Three Ways to Join the TelComm Board:

The typical progression for joining the TCU Board is:

  1. Associate Board of Director (Training role with no voting rights)
  2. Supervisory Committee Member (Provides fiduciary oversight)
  3. Board of Director (Elected position with strategic direction and voting rights)

In rare cases, a candidate may skip a step if their credit union knowledge, experience, or background supports it. However, most applicants who apply directly to the Board of Directors are first placed in either the Associate Director or the Supervisory Committee.

TelComm is seeking Associate Board Members!

If you care about the future of our credit union and want to contribute your experience in business, leadership, or management, we invite you to get involved. Serving as an Associate Board Member is a great way to learn, grow, and make an impact.
